Edinburgh Rugby recorded their first win under new head coach Alan Solomons with a 15-5 victory over Newcastle Falcons in their final warm-up game before the competitive campaign.

Playing under the lights of their adopted home ground, Mansfield Park, home of Hawick RFC, Edinburgh showed great tenacity and composure throughout the game.

Also making his debut as Edinburgh's Stadium Announcer was Forth One Breakfast DJ Boogie who will be the man on the mic at Murrayfield for the coming season.
